Prerequisites: Delegates must hold an OPITO approved Competence Assessor certificate or equivalent, and relevant experience as an assessor in the workplace and have access to a minimum of two assessors undergoing as assessment process to verify.

Portfolios should be assessed by all those involved on an ongoing process, task by task. Portfolios should not be end loaded, that is given to the Internal Assessor or IV only when it is completed.

This suite of qualifications replaces the V1 and D34 internal verifier award. These internal verifier courses are part of the Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF). These practitioner qualifications are designed to support the internal quality assurance of the new QCF qualifications including NVQ’s and Apprenticeships. They are suitable for anyone who internally quality assures the assessment of learning.
The TAQA verifier (IQA) qualifications units are listed below.
Each qualification will start with a one day training workshop followed by one-to-one work with your assessor including observations, discussion and gathering workplace evidence at a time to be arranged at your location.
